An interview with Rebecca

Without which jewelry piece do you never leave the house?
I love necklaces, especially layering looks are my thing. But there is one jewelry piece I would never leave the house without: my wedding ring.

What is your most important travel companion?
My most important travel companion is my husband. We love to travel together and every journey brings new beautiful memories.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?
I’ll give you three guesses. I gave birth to a child for the first time and since then I did many things for the first time. Building up a crib for example.

What is a fun fact about you?
I really love to travel and do it often, but still I am truly bad at packing my bags. Also with unpacking there is a 50:50 chance when it will happen. Either directly, if the dressing room was tidied up, or even after a few days, when it is just slightly messy before.

What is your favorite place at home?
In front of the fridge - front row!

Where is your favorite place in the world?
No matter how much I love to be on the go, my favorite place will always be my home!

Opulent earrings or statement necklace?
I would prefer opulent earrings. Statement necklaces can be heavy and massive sometimes.

What are two things that are on your bucket list?
I don’t really have a bucket list. What I would really like to do is to travel the world or at least some countries we don’t know yet. And maybe learn a new language. Just before I attended GNTM I started learning Spanish but never continued. Maybe I’ll catch up on this.

What's your power quote?
A day without a smile is a lost day.
I really love to laugh and do it often.

What's the best way to recharge your batteries?
Sleeping for sure, this misses out at the moment. We also love long strolls - fresh air is always good for us.

What is your favorite animal and why?
Our dog Macchia. We always had dogs in our family but Macchia is our first dog together - I think this is something really special.

What advice do you give to those around you when dealing with you?
When push comes to shove, best thing to do is to throw some chocolate. It always lifts the spirit.

What's your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate for sure! But I also love Pizza and Pasta - good for me to have an Italian husband.

What are you most grateful for?
More than ever I am thankful for having a healthy and happy family.

When did you have your last laughing fit and what was it about?
We always laugh a lot but a few days ago we watched a really funny comedy film.

What's the nicest compliment you've ever received?
The most beautiful compliments aim at the inner qualities.
